Karly graduated from Neumann University’s school of nursing in 2009. She has had 13 years of experience working in the hospital as a surgical and cardiac nurse. Karly has served on the Scheduling Committee and the Professional Nurse Council where she helped the unit earn the Beacon Award for Excellence and lead team building and moral boosting programs. Karly is appreciative for all the experiences the hospital has given her but always felt that her true calling was to be in a more holistic environment.
She completed the Integrative Nurse Coach Certificate Program and found her passion.
Karly continues to work in cardiology and uses nurse coaching with her patients as she sees how an emphasis on motivating and engaging clients to make change can create a positive impact on their health and wellness journey. Karly has a deep interest and growing knowledge in holistic nutrition. Karly is pursuing a master’s degree and adding to her integrative knowledge toolbox. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends while fitting in self-care activities like bike riding and tennis.
