Lauren Briggs, RN, BSN, HWNC-BC, HN-BC is the founder of Practical Medicine, LLC, based in Stamford, Connecticut. Affectionately known as Nurse Lauren, she brings over 15 years of nursing experience in both New York and Connecticut, having worked across a wide range of healthcare settings, including emergency and allopathic medicine.
Midway through her career, Lauren shifted her focus toward holistic care, embracing Functional and Integrative Medicine. She is a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Nurse Coach through INCA/AHNCC, holds a Certificate in Functional Medicine for Nurses (INCA/IFM), and a Diploma in Clinical Homeopathy from the CEDH.
Lauren specializes in gut health, hormonal balance, and migraines in her private practice, and is deeply passionate about nutrition and organic living. She is also a dedicated homeschooling mom of two boys, and for many years has coordinated a CSA program in partnership with a local organic farm.
An advocate for nurse empowerment and holistic education, Lauren teaches the popular course Homeopathy for Nurses: Acute Care through INCA, helping nurses integrate homeopathy into clinical practice.
