RN, LPN/LVN and internationally-educated nurses all have a path.
Licensure and where you trained both factor in. Admissions can confirm your route.
This course carries you from a clear, confident way to explain what you do to a finished Nurse Coaching proposal you can put in front of decision-makers. Evidence gathered. Objections answered. Workflow mapped. All of it built around your own organization or community, at your pace.
Want both courses? Compare them side by side and enroll in both for $1,500.
Nurses bring coaching conversations into their work every day, often without a name for it, a budget line, or a seat at the table where programs get approved. Moving Nurse Coaching from something you do quietly to something your organization supports takes a different set of skills: evidence, a clear value proposition, and answers ready for the questions leaders ask. So nurses with good ideas end up hearing the same things:
None of these are dead ends. They’re questions, and each one has an answer. This course helps you build those answers in order, one module at a time.
Every assignment in this course feeds one deliverable: your Nurse Coaching proposal. Your journal notes, colleague interviews, evidence, and workflow map come together in the Organizational Assessment Tool, then into an implementation plan and a polished executive summary for decision-makers. By the final module you will have:
“This course is designed to take you from envisioning possibilities to a concrete proposal for integrating Nurse Coaching into your organization or community.”
Learn to explain what you do, and why it matters, to anyone who asks. Record elevator speeches for four audiences, reflect on where coaching conversations already happen in your work, and get your first look at the Organizational Assessment Tool that anchors your final proposal.
Build the case. Gather evidence, interview colleagues about patient empowerment and behavior change support, and write a one-page Value Proposition Brief for your manager. Then practice your answers to five common obstacles with other nurses in the course.
Get specific about where coaching fits. Map your workday to find coaching touchpoints, then choose your path: build a directory of referral resources, or use Appreciative Inquiry to plan a smaller pilot. Sample proposals show what integration can look like in practice.
Everything comes together. Complete your Organizational Assessment Tool, set goals, milestones, and your first three quick wins, design a simple outcome tracking system, and write your executive summary. Then form a peer accountability partnership to keep moving after the course ends.
Attest that your proposal is complete and submit a short course evaluation. Your Certificate of Completion and contact hours are sent to your email. No rubric. No grader. You know whether your proposal is ready.
Working documents and worked examples, so you never start from a blank page.
The backbone of your proposal. You'll fill it in as you go, then turn it into your implementation plan.
A one-page brief for your manager, with a sample to work from, at least three measurable outcomes, and research citations.
Three worked examples: a diabetes management program, a proposal to administration, and a Nurse Coach leader proposal.
Five objections leaders often raise, practiced with your peers until your answers feel natural.
Find 5 to 7 moments in your workday for a brief coaching conversation, each paired with one powerful coaching question.
Define, Discover, Dream, Design, Destiny. A smaller first step when a full proposal isn't the right move yet.
A simple way to track coaching conversations, follow-through, and feedback, so a pilot produces data leaders can act on.
A sample to guide the polished document you bring to decision-makers.
Generic leadership courses teach you to pitch a program. This course was built by nurses, and it treats Nurse Coaching like what it is: nursing. Your clinical education, your assessment skills, and your years inside real systems are what make your proposal credible. The course is built around that.
“Nurse Coaching is nursing. Everything you’ve learned comes with you.”
Each module follows the same pattern: a video lecture, readings and sample documents, journal assignments that become pieces of your final proposal, and discussions with other nurses in the course. When you finish a module’s assignments, you confirm them with a quick attestation and the next module unlocks.
Some nurses finish in a few focused weeks. Others take a few months between shifts. Both are right. Your access never expires.
