Course Policies

By registering for any of our courses/programs/events, you are accepting/agreeing to the terms and conditions below.

Summary of Policies

• You will be respectful of your fellow students, your instructors and INCA staff in the course and in all public domains. Violation of this term may result in immediate removal from the course with no refund.
• You will not share/distribute/re-purpose or utilize INCA’s intellectual property and course materials outside of the course without written permission from an INCA Executive.
• If on a payment plan, you will keep your payment method up to date and understand that late payments may result in course suspension and additional fees.
• You understand our Refund Policy:
  • Courses under $100 are non-refundable.
  • Courses $100 or greater:
• • If you registered 15 or more days before the course begins, you can request a full refund within 48 hours of payment by emailing admissions@inursecoach.com.

• • If you registered for a course beginning in 14 or fewer days, no refund is permitted and the deferral policy below applies. If on a payment plan, your payment plan will continue as scheduled.
• You understand our Deferral Policy:
  • Deferral Request before or during the First Week (7 Days) of Program: one-time, complimentary deferral to the next offering of the program (if there is another offering available).
  • Deferral Request after the First Week of Program, but before halfway mark of Program: Requests to defer between Week 2 and 50% of the program incur a deferral fee based on tuition.
    • Tuition less than or equal to $1,000, deferral fee: $100
    • Tuition greater than $1,000, deferral fee: $250
  • Deferral Requests after the 50% mark of the program will not be honored. Students may re-enroll in a future offering of the course using a one-time 25% off re-enroll discount code.
    • Students must email admissions@inursecoach.com to receive coupon before re-enrolling.
    • 25% off discount code not stackable/combinable with other discount codes or scholarships INCA may be offering. Re-enroll discount codes will only be issued one-time and will be valid for one year from the date of original registration.
  • Deferral requests must be made in writing to your instructor/supervisor, with admissions@inursecoach.com copied on the email.
  • If a fee is due, this must be paid at least 30 days prior to the new offering. Payment plans continue according to original payment terms/scheduled. ie payment plans are not deferred for any reason.
  • Students may only request a deferral to the next offering of the program.
  • Students may only request to defer one time.
• You understand that if you do not complete the program requirements, or do not complete your payment plan (if applicable) by the end of the program, you will not receive a certificate of completion. Should you wish to complete the program, you may request a 25% re-enrollment discount code by emailing admissions@inursecoach.com.

By enrolling in any of the Integrative Nurse Coach® Academy’s (“INCA”) courses, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.  Terms must be agreed to prior to enrolling in our courses.

Successful Course Completion Policy

Attendance and Participation Policy

Successful students will plan to access course on a regular basis to ensure appropriate participation in course activities and to meet assignments timelines. Courses may contain video lectures, textbook readings, discussion forum groups, quizzes, reflective activities, written assignments, peer practice, peer coaching, client coaching and/ or awareness practice requirements.

To receive a certificate, contact hour award and/or letter of completion, students must:

• have paid tuition in full for the program and have no outstanding payments due (if on payment plan).
• participated in and completed all course requirements

If a student does not complete the program requirements within 30 days of the scheduled end date, the student may re-enroll in the program using a one-time, non-transferrable 25% off discount code.  The student must email admissions@inursecoach.com to obtain this discount code.

Financial Policies

Tuition and Payment Plans

Tuition is due at the time of enrollment. If you opt for a payment plan, you may be subject to a one-time administrative fee added to your first payment. Payments will be automatically billed to the payment source provided at checkout until the balance has been paid in full.

If you fail to make a timely tuition payment, for any reason, you may be suspended from the Course and will be subject to the Removal Policy (explained below). Late payments may incur late fees and subject you to immediate removal from the Course, with no ability to re-enroll.

Refund Policy

Subscriptions, Introductory Courses and Courses under $100 are non-refundable, with no exceptions.

All Other Courses:

Request for Refund when Course begins in 15 or more days

• Within 0-48 hours of registering for the course
  • You may cancel and receive a 100% refund within 48 hours of registering for a course. Exception: if you registered using a payment plan, the payment plan admin fee is always non-refundable.
  • Request must be made in writing to admissions@inursecoach.com.
  • No refund will be granted if any pre-course surveys have been submitted by the participant within the first 48 hours of registering
• 48 or more hours after registering for the course
  • No refund will be issued.  You may transfer to a future course, if available (explained below).
  • Deferral does not void remaining Payment Plan payments; all payments still must be made as scheduled (explained below).
  • Request must be made in writing to admissions@iNurseCoach.com.

Course begins in 14 or less days

• No refund will be issued.
• You may transfer to a future course, if available (explained below.) Cancelation does not void remaining Payment Plan payments; all payments still must be made as scheduled (explained below).

After the course has begun

• No refund will be issued.
• You may transfer/defer to the next offering of the course, if it is available, and if you request a deferral within the first 7 days of the course for no fee.
• Request must be made via email to admissions@inursecoach.com and to your instructor/supervisor.

Transfer/Deferral Policy

  • Students who do not log in to the course during the first week of the program may be automatically deferred to the next cohort at inca’s discretion.

You are strongly encouraged to speak with your faculty supervisor about your situation prior to dropping the program. We are happy to assist you in your decision making and explain all options for program completion.

Payment Plan Cancellation

If you opt for a payment plan and wish to transfer/defer at any time, your payment plan will still proceed as scheduled. No refunds are permitted for payment plans at any time.

Cancellation by the Integrative Nurse Coach® Academy

INCA reserves the right to cancel any course or change program start dates. In the event of cancellation by INCA, you may elect to receive a full refund of registration fees paid or credit toward alternative class(es).

Technology

Technical Requirements

You understand and acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring that you have compatible computer(s), equipment, and software necessary for you to view and access the course. The technical requirements are published on our website.

System Downtime

INCA does not warrant that the provision of any content online will always be available or be uninterrupted, timely or error free. However, INCA will quickly respond to program situations to address the concerns.  There may be scheduled periods of system downtime for system maintenance, which you will be notified of at least 72 hours in advance.

Ownership, Intellectual Property, Course Sharing

You are granted a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Course Materials for the sole purpose of advancing your understanding of the Course. You may not share the materials with any third-party or use the Materials in any other way.

You acknowledge that all of the materials, concepts, techniques, presentations, audio, methods, curricula, and other information (collectively, the “Materials”) you are exposed to or provided with in connection with the Course is the sole and exclusive property of INCA.  Materials are considered intellectual property and are owned INCA.

Permission is granted for use of certain program materials by students and graduates for patient care coaching and must be used without alteration and contain the copyright information. These materials will be marked in the course. Permission is required for any other use. Any such use without permission is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of INCA’s intellectual property rights.  If the course material does not explicitly state it can be used by the student/graduate outside of the course, it may not be used.

You may not allow anyone else to access the e-training courses via your log-in details, or view or participate in the online learning along with you.

You agree not to reproduce, copy, or otherwise duplicate, distribute, lend, sell, or otherwise transfer or disclose to any individual, business, or other party, any of the Materials without the prior written consent of INCA.

Inappropriate Conduct

INCA reserves the right to remove any student (per the removal policy below) from a course should the student’s behavior be deemed inappropriate. Inappropriate conduct is or may be considered harassing, harmful, obscene, incendiary, threatening, or defamatory (singularly or collectively, “Inappropriate Conduct”), regardless of its intended target.  This applies within the course, as well as on any social media outlet or public setting.

Whether or not the student’s conduct constitutes Inappropriate Conduct will be determined in INCA’s sole and exclusive judgment.

INCA will not refund fees, tuition nor reimburse any other costs should this occur, and you may be prohibited from enrolling in future programs.

Removal Policy

INCA reserves the right to remove you from the Course if you fail to make payments as scheduled or violate these Terms. If you are removed from the Course, you may be subject to charges, including the remaining tuition payments owed. Removal may mean you’re not eligible to enroll in future Courses. You may also be suspended or removed at any time for inappropriate comments or disclosure of other learner’s personal information. INCA reserves the right to remove you without warning.

Any student who is removed from the course for any of the above reasons will not be eligible for a refund of any kind, is required to pay any outstanding tuition, and may not be eligible to participate in future courses.

Non-Competition

You agree that, during your participation in the Course and for a period of two (2) years thereafter,  you will not work for, become employed by, own as a shareholder, partner, member, joint venture or otherwise, and/or otherwise participate in any organization in the United States that: (i) that competes with INCA and/or (ii) the primary or secondary purpose of which is to educate, train, teach, and/or otherwise provide instruction to nurse coaches. You agree that this limitation is reasonable in light of the Course you have received and/or are slated to receive. You also acknowledge and agree that the foregoing restrictions (and those set forth in “Intellectual Property”) are necessary to protect INCA’s interests and that INCA would not have entered into these Terms in the absence of such restrictions. The terms of this “Non-Compete” shall survive termination of these Terms.

Modifications

INCA reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify these Terms and to impose new or additional terms or conditions relating to your enrollment and use of the Materials. Modifications and additional terms and conditions will be effective immediately and incorporated into these Terms, which will be shared with you. Your continued use of, or access to the Course, and/or other INCA educational resources, online portals, repositories, and/or systems will be deemed an acceptance of these Terms and any subsequent changes. You are responsible for regularly checking these Terms for changes. 

Enforceability

This agreement is enforceable per the laws and statutes in the state of Florida. In the event that any term, provision, covenant, or condition of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or otherwise unenforceable, such unenforceable provision shall be severed, the remainder of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect, and such provision will be reformed to provide the maximum protection to INCA permissible under law.

Limitation of Liability

Under No Circumstances, Including, But Not Limited To, Negligence, Shall the Integrative Nurse Coach® Academy, LLC, Subsidiaries And Parent Companies Or Affiliates Be Liable For Any Direct, Indirect, Incidental, Special Or Consequential Damages That Result From The Use Of, Or The Inability To Use, The Site, Including Our Messaging, Blogs, Comments Of Others, Books, Emails, Products, Or Services, Or Third-Party Materials, Products, Or Services Made Available Through The Site Or By INCA In Any Way, Even If INCA Is Advised Beforehand Of The Possibility Of Such Damages. (Because Some States Do Not Allow the Exclusion Or Limitation Of Certain Categories Of Damages, The Above Limitation May Not Apply To You. In Such States, Our Liability and The Liability of Our Subsidiary and Parent Companies or Affiliates Is Limited to The Fullest Extent Permitted by Such State Law.)

You Specifically Acknowledge and Agree That the Integrative Nurse Coach® Academy, LLC, Is Not Liable for Any Defamatory, Offensive or Illegal Conduct of Any User. If You Are Dissatisfied with The Site, Any Materials, Products, Or Services on The Site, Or with Any of The Site’s Terms and Conditions, Your Sole and Exclusive Remedy Is to Discontinue Using the Site and The Products, Services And/or Materials. The Integrative Nurse Coach® Academy, Is Not an Investment Advisory Service, Is Not an Investment Adviser, And Does Not Provide Personalized Financial Advice or Act as A Financial Advisor. INCA Does Not Provide Medical Advice.

Our Guarantee to You

Student satisfaction is our priority, and we will provide a continuous check on the consistency and quality of program delivery. All students will receive an occasional survey and at the end of each class asked to submit feedback in the form of a program evaluation. This feedback will be reviewed in detail and will be used to make continuous improvements to class content and delivery.
