Step into the Future of Healthcare & Become a Board Certified Nurse Coach

Integrative Nurse Coach Program FAQ

How is Integrative Nurse Coaching different from other Coaching Programs?

While learning new Coaching skills, our Integrative Nurse Coaching program builds on our nursing role and brings new knowledge and skills, expanding our role as nurses in all healthcare settings.

As the Affordable Care Act includes disease prevention, health maintenance, and health and wellness promotion as important components of the transformation of healthcare, we focus on lifestyle factors that impact all chronic conditions. Through an Integrative Nurse Coach model and lens, we offer new knowledge, strategies, and skills to support healthier lifestyles through behavioral change. We also focus on a whole person model of care that addresses the body, mind, spirit, culture, nutritional and environmental aspects that impact one’s health and well being.

How is the program unique?

The Integrative Nurse Coach Certificate Program (INCCP) is the only professional coaching program with a curriculum that prepares nurses to meet all the criteria to sit for the American Holistic Nurse Coach Certification examination to become a Nurse Coach-Board Certified (NC-BC). The Integrative Nurse Coach Certificate Program (INCCP) integrates the art and science of nursing coaching and the Theory of Integrative Nurse Coaching (TINC) into all program content.

Our INCCP focus is on supporting nurses in developing their unique approach to nurse coaching using foundational knowledge and skills that are within our scope of nursing practice. Our INCCP was developed by experienced nurse leaders and is exclusively for nurses.  The support network that is forming around this movement is amazing and transformational for nurses.
