In collaboration with the Christine E Lynn College (CEL) of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), the International Nurse Coach Association (INCA) will offer a 4-day intensive program designed for registered nurses and advanced practice nurses working in diverse healthcare settings including community health, homecare, hospitals and private practice.
This unique program will develop your coaching skills to improve the health of your patients, family caregivers, and communities by facilitating lifestyle changes and focusing on lifestyle health. This includes strategies for coping with stress, optimizing sleep, integrating nutrition & more. You will become more aware of your personal health, life balance & satisfaction, leading to increased resiliency, self-reflection, & self-care.
Integrative Nurse Coaching, created by nurses, for nurses, is based on a whole person model of care that addresses the biological, psychological, social, spiritual, cultural, and environmental aspects of health and wellbeing. Using diverse teaching strategies, senior INCA Associate Faculty will assist you to achieve nurse coach competencies that can be applied to all patients and families across the lifespan who want to make lifestyle changes to improve their health.

This program is 30 hours (approved by the Florida Board of Nursing) divided over 4 days. Participants will have the option applying these 30 hours toward the Integrative Nurse Coach Certificate Program (120 hours). More details will be in your registration packet.
