Ronald D. Kanka is the Executive Director of Business Operations for the International Nurse Coach Association | Integrative Nurse Coach® Academy (INCA). With a strong background in business and program management, he plays a crucial role in steering the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the organization.

His professional journey in the healthcare sector began at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health’s Integrative Medicine Division. Here, Ronald excelled in managing various educational initiatives, including continuing medical education conferences and seminars focused on integrative medicine practices. His role in organizing these events showcased his adeptness in project management and his ability to foster educational and professional networks in the healthcare field.

Ronald’s association with INCA commenced in 2012 after meeting with Susan Luck, a co-founder of INCA, which led to his first role as the Program Manager. In this capacity, he applied his business acumen to enhance INCA’s operations, significantly contributing to its international expansion and prominence in the field of nurse coaching.

Recognizing his business expertise, INCA’s leadership team entrusted Ronald with the critical task of transitioning their Integrative Nurse Coach Certificate Program to an online format, which led to his promotion to INCA’s Board of Directors. Collaborating with Karen Avino, he was instrumental in executing this strategic shift, ensuring the program’s scalability and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the modern nursing professional.

Currently, Ronald is further augmenting his business leadership skills by pursuing an Executive MBA. This endeavor underscores his commitment to continuous learning and professional development. His ongoing education is poised to bring fresh perspectives and innovative strategies to INCA, enhancing its mission to integrate holistic wellness into mainstream nursing education.
